Yes, I’ve got the sweets for the Tricker or Treaters this evening. Even though I’m not home I left a deluxe bowl of goodies for my husband to give out.

You can’t see everything in there (and I can’t remember it all) but there are Junior Mints, Tootsie Pops, Blow Pops, Jolly Rancher Lollipops, Chewy SweeTarts, Kissables, SweeTart Gummi Bugs, Heath Bars, various full sized bars from some photos I took, Lik-m-Aid, Laffy Taffy, Chewy Runts ... I think that’s about it. I like to balance out the candy offerings with a variety of chocolate and sugar, lollipops were always a favorite of mine.
Happy Halloween!

Commenting is not available in this channel entry.ack! i’m going to your house for halloween!
mmmm, chewy sweetarts…
I would think your house would be the best place to get Halloween candy. No rolls of pennies.
Something about giant chewy sweettarts touches my heart like few other things.
Happy Halloween to you too!
Tootsie Pops have *always* been a favorite of mine.
You rock, Cybele! Now if your husband insisted on jokes for treats (as one of our neighbors do), it would be the ultimate old-fashioned Halloween experience.
My boys got the “endangered species” treats - one dark and one milk chocolate each, but I didn’t see any other green treats in their pumpkins. Two of the three hit the house that gives out full-sized chocolate bars, but alas, not the child from whom I would have been most likely to sneak away that Snickers…
I always used to dream of finding houses that gave out loot that good! And, yeah, the Giant Chewy SweeTarts are looking mighty good (I think I’m going to have to hit the mini-mart for some sugar today).
Wow—what a stash! For some reason I was thinking you’d be giving out “green Halloween” candy.
Hey, I have a question for you. Do you know if they make the really big gumdrops anymore? I’m not talking about these:

I’m thinking twice as large, at least. I’ve been looking without any luck…
Marvo - a whole roll of pennies! Do you know how many gumballs that’d buy in a gumball machine? (Do they still make penny gumball machines?)
Pam - I think I’ve gotten old. I used to bite them, now I whack them into pieces first. (I just can stand the drooling when I tried to bite them.)
AceN - I have no idea if they sell them individually wrapped, but they should!
Sera - yeah, I told my husband to hold back the orange ones if possible. Yummers.
Tricia - glad to hear the green treats are showing up!
William - the chocolate obsession guy is after the sweetarts? I just went to Walgreens and they didn’t have any sale stuff yet!
MusicalMom - I would have gone green if I weren’t the candy blogger - everything in that bowl were leftovers from candy projects. It didn’t seem very green to go out and buy MORE stuff. (I’ve eaten most of the green stuff myself, it’s sad to say.)
Oops, forgot the question about the gumdrops. No, I haven’t seen many out there. I found something made by Nestle called Fruitips, which are pretty big jelly candies, but fruit flavored (as the name would imply).
