Another Chuao bar, made with exquisite Venezuelan chocolate. This was coffee and anise which is an amazing combination. Package image here, in case you want to find it in stores.
Hard to find? I actually managed to find some of these at my local Wal-Mart, almost jumped to buy them but didn’t because A. I can’t stand coffee, even if I love licorice, and B. they were all broken. Seriously, every last one. -_-
Oh, so I grabbed one of these at Walmart today. Not that great actually. The ground coffee makes it very gritty, like eating sand. Not much star anise flavor. Not terrible, but I won’t buy it again. Might still try the Panko bar.
Also comes in sugar-free, which i accidently picked up first. None of the bars were broken at my local store.
Meticulously photographed and documented reviews of candy from around the world. And the occasional other sweet adventures. Open your mouth, expand your mind.
