These are the new Haribo Saft Baeren (Juice Bears). They come in a slightly different flavor list than the traditional Haribo Bears, like pear. They’re also made with natural food colorings.
I’m a bit behind at my day job and won’t be able to update until next week, but I thought I could at least leave you with some tasty eye candy. Starting next week I’ll have copious coverage of the Sweets and Snacks Expo in Chicago.

Saft means juice…
I love Haribo Bears! Can you buy these in stores in the US? I can only find them for sale online.
Found a photo comparing the old and new bears, plus review and flavors (in German). http://shoppingblog.t-online.de/werbung/produkttest-haribo-saftbaeren-vs-haribo-goldbaeren
They sound neat.
Can’t wait for the coverage of Sweets & Snack Expo. Gulp!
“Saft” means juice in German, though, and not soft. They’ve been available in Europe for a while and pride themselves in being made with real fruit juice and natural colouring.
Asked the fellow at the Haribo booth at the Sweets and Snacks show about these, and he didn’t know what I was taking about.
You can buy Haribo bears at Walgreens and Cost Plus World Market in San Francisco and surrounding cities. I would think then that all / most USA Cost Plus locations have Haribo bears. In fact, they have a large selection of Haribo, from Coke Bottles to Licorice.
